Remember that Nicolas Cage movie where he leaves his job and home and everything to go to Las Vegas and drink himself to death?
Initially that seemed like a dark and depressing concept for a movie. But then I got to thinking about how that would have spared us from:
- Captain Corelli's Mandolin
- Ghost Rider
- Next
- Bangkok Dangerous
- Knowing
- Season of the Witch
and coming to a theatre near you:
- Drive Angry 3-D
You even wonder if Nic had some sort of gut feeling about what was coming down the 'ol script pike, so he ran off to Vegas to try and just end it all before it started.
What a tragedy...
