Maybe It's Fad-tastic...

You know about fads. There are fad diets, clothing fads, 80’s fads, hair fads, baby fads, and even hobby fads. They come and go. They ebb and flow.

One of my latest fads it knife fighting. Specifically, Mexican knife fighting.

mexican knife fight:
A knife fight, usually between two individuals, particularly unique in the fact that they have duct taped their hands together in a hand-shaking gesture while holding the knives in their unbound hand. Usually conducted to settle a dispute over food, money, drugs, property, or prostitutes.



I have only had two fights so far, but I killed my opponents rather proficiently. It would appear I have natural talent.

And you know, I laugh when people talk about the inhumanity of Mexican knife fighting. Cause really, it’s no different from cock fights or dog fights! The only difference is a person dies rather than a chicken or a dog. Oh no! Get PETA on the phone!!! Pffft!

Thing is, I don’t think the fad will last very long. Firstly, because knife fights are crazy bloody and I’m not sure I can stomach it much more. Secondly, it appears that they are also illegal and I don’t want to go to prison and have to join a prison gang for protection and kill some random guy for initiation and then get solitary for a while and learn the whole new sport of shiv fighting…
