Maybe Cause'n It's More Fun If You Build It Yourself

So... as I listened to the Saturday afternoon session of GC I tapped my inner Norm Abram and kept my hands busy by building the main newel post for our stairs. I'd take a picture, but it doesn't look like much. It's mostly a glued-up, uneven, unsanded mess (like many wood projects begin). But it'll get there- you watch!

It's going to go at the bottom of these stairs...



One day... very soon, these stairs will be fancy schmancy. Ohhhh! You doubters and naysayers, just you wait!
